Antípoda

The antipodal point of Castrillo de Murcia falls in open Pacific, roughly 200km from Wellington — making this city the nearest inhabited point on Earth to where the work began. A solo show of original ink illustration built around that coincidence, staged inside a working café.

Drawn on site over several sessions at the restaurant on Cuba St. What started as a single illustration of the dining room became decoration, printed merchandise, and a piece regulars now photograph more than the food.

Trained in industrial design, with a background spanning fabrication, graphic design and hospitality. GOZARR sits at the point where a drawing stops being a drawing and becomes a wall, a print, a shirt, a menu.

Based in Wellington. Working from Castrillo de Murcia, Burgos, and wherever the next commission is.
